The Lotus Health Foundation
Community Health, Education and Women’s Empowerment Project – Cambodia
Project Overview
This project aims to support community wellbeing in Cambodia through a holistic, locally led initiative focused on health access, women’s empowerment, education, and long-term sustainability. The project recognises the strength, resilience, and cultural knowledge of Cambodian communities and seeks to work in partnership with local organisations, leaders, and practitioners to strengthen existing systems rather than replace them.
The project will prioritise women, mothers, and children, recognising their central role in family and community wellbeing, while creating opportunities for education, employment, and community-led development.

Sponsor a family. Strengthen a future
HOW FAMILY SPONSORSHIP WORKS
A family is identified through an appropriate local partner or community organisation. Needs are assessed to understand the family's circumstances and priorities. A sponsorship plan is developed based on the family's needs and the available program resources. Sponsors contribute through the Lotus Health Foundation. Support is delivered through appropriate local channels. The program is monitored to ensure funds and resources are being used appropriately. Progress is reviewed and support is adjusted where circumstances change. Protecting families and children The safety, privacy and dignity of every family participating in our programs is extremely important to us. Lotus Health Foundation will establish appropriate safeguarding, privacy, financial management and partner-oversight processes for family sponsorship programs, particularly where children or other vulnerable people are involved. We will avoid publishing identifying information about sponsored children or families without appropriate consent and safeguards.
